 Coach Francis-Alexandre Devine also known as Coach Frank. Is a military brat he moved around a lot. As a child he was on the field helping his father coach and pick up balls of the ground. Coach Frank fell in love with football. So much so he begged his parents to let him play. They were hesitant. Till he reached high school, and he played for Saint Joseph Scollard Hall. He played for the junior program. When the junior program ended, he was asked to come up to the senior program that year. He practiced and loved it. The next year he played for the senior program. Almost winning a championship. The next year he got posted to Eagle River, Alaska. He flew out early to and didn’t travel with his family so he could start practicing with the team. The first year he played he received second team all state offensive tackle. The second year he became and all state offensive tackle through hard work and dedication. Coach Frank received no scholarships but was wanted by many schools such as University of North Dakota, Bemidji State University and Ottawa University. Coach frank went to Ottawa University but had to leave due to how expensive Ottawa was. He moved back to North Bay. He played for a city team as well as a small university tea. He was scouted by many Canadian universities. He started coaching his old high school team and that year they won a championship. But Coach Frank became homeless while in North Bay. He moved back in with his parents where he played for the Winnipeg rifles for two years. He then went and played for the university of Manitoba. Played for two years and realized University wasn’t for him but he never stopped trying. He met an ex CFL player that loved his passion and helped him get prepared for the CFL. He helped him make connections. In the end he had a son. So, he decided to go into the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2012 he was approached to help coach Sisler high school. In 2014 he was posted to Gagetown where he coached Provincial, high school and AFL teams. One two championships one with the high school team the other with the AFL team. He one a u14 tournament in Quebec. When leaving Gagetown to Shilo he was excited for a fresh start. As of right now he has Coached at Crocus high school, Manitoba Selects and Southwest Sabers. While doing all of this he has built his NCCP profile and is still working on everything to become a national coach.
